Chauffeur.
Agreement made _________[Date], between
_________ of _________, "employer," and _________ of _________,
"chauffeur," states as follows:
Chauffeur agrees to drive the automobile belonging to
the employer, for a period of _________ from date, and to be at the garage of
the employer by or before _________ a.m. of every day, and also be ready at any
and all times to drive the machine upon call.
Chauffeur agrees that he [or she] will not at
any time exceed the speed limits established by law unless so directed by the
employer or some member of his [or her] family whose direction the
employer has ordered chauffeur to obey.
Employer, in consideration of the above promises,
agrees to pay chauffeur $_____ per month, on the _________ day of each month,
and to provide chauffeur with _________ meals per day and to furnish him [or
her] lodging when made necessary by reason of long trips or driving late at
night.
The term of service agreed on here may be terminated
by chauffeur upon giving _________ weeks' notice in writing or by the employer
on the payment in full of all wages due up to and including the day of the
termination and the further sum of one month's wages.
